PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an apparatus for fixing a material to be sewed, capable of accurately carrying out operations of printing and/or embroidering a pattern on a material to be sewed and cutting the material to be sewed. SOLUTION: A cloth is attracted and fixed to an attraction plate or a conveyor belt by static electricity generated by an apparatus for fixing a material to be sewed. A printing machine or an embroidery machine is driven based on data made by a pattern color preparation device, a pattern is printed or embroidered on the designated part of a specified part. Then a cutter is driven and the printed and/or the embroidered cloth is cut into several parts.
