PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a liquid polymer composition not generating carbon dioxide even when moisture exists in a system and therefore not causing bubbles in a cured product, improved in hardenability and physical properties of coating film and useful for an undercoating material for vehicles by employing a melamine compound having a specific structure as a curing agent. SOLUTION: This composition comprises (A) a hydroxyl group-containing liquid diene-based polymer and/or its hydride and (B) a melamine compound expressed by the formula (wherein R1, R3 and R5 are each H or CH2OX; R2, R4 and R6 are each CH2OY; X is H, methyl, propyl or the like; and Y is methyl, propyl or butyl) or a block polyisocyanate compound obtained by reacting the above melamine compound and the component A with a polyisocyanate compound and then by the block copolymerization of the resultant prepolymer as a curing agent. The content of hydroxyl group of the component A preferably is 0.2-10.0 meq/g and the number average molecular weight of the component A preferably is 300-10,000.
