PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent clogging of a filter. SOLUTION: In a solid-liquid separator 1 wherein while an ice slurry 10 containing ice as a solid content is transferred along an inner face of a filter 3, a liquid content in the slurry 10 is continuously separated via the filter 3 and taken outside, a contact type heating means 5 is provided, which comprises a cylindrical retaining wall (casing) 5A enclosing the whole outer peripheral face of the filter 3 at a specific interval to the outer face of the filter 3, an air duct line 5B communicating to the inside of the cylindrical retaining wall 5A, a fan 5C which is connected to the other end of the air duct 5B and supplied air into the cylindrical retaining wall 5A via inside the pipe line 5B, and a heater 5D which is installed to the air duct line 5B and heats air passing through the duct line 5B. The filter is suitably a metal-made filter.
