<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To shut off the odor of a wood when a container is used for foods or cooking, positively making use of the advantages of the wood, to ensure the environmental protection during the disposal, and to make an effective use of the wooden resources such as thinnings by providing a biodegradable plastic layer on a face side, a reverse side or face and reverse sides of a wooden sheet body. SOLUTION: A biodegradable plastic layer 2 is provided on a surface of a body 1 formed by forming a wooden sheet in a dish-like shape. The biodegradable plastic layer 2 may be provided on a reverse side of the body 1, or both face and reverse sides thereof. The body is formed by steaming the wooden sheet with the steam high in temperature and pressure, and forming it by a forming press, or by drying the wooden sheet while pressing it in the forming press. The biodegradable plastic layer 2 is formed by placing a sheet-like biodegradable plastic on a specified part of the body 1, and covering it thereon through the thermal bonding. The biodegradable plastic consists of aliphatic polyester or this polyester with starch blended therein.</p> |
