PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To sufficiently display specified damper performance by securing large buckling strength and flexural strength while reducing cost by lightening and reducing assembly mandays. SOLUTION: This device is furnished with a plural number of first steel plates 1 arranged in parallel with each other with intervals between them, a second steel plate 2 arranged in parallel with them at an intermediate position between the adjacent first steel plates 1, 1 and viscoelastic bodies 3, 3 interposed between opposed surfaces of the first steel plates 1 and the second steel plate 2, and the first steel plates 1 and spacers 4, 4 cross-sections of which are solid and rectangular interposed between opposed surfaces of both ends in the cross direction of them are constituted in a box shape by integrally connecting them by fastening bolts 5 and nuts 6 passing through solid parts of the spacers 4, 4. |
