PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an island interchange type ball transfer device where an attaching position capable of measuring the accurate ball amount of a ball amount sensor is easily determined. SOLUTION: In this island interchange type ball transfer device composed of a main pachinko island base provided with a base tank B1 for storing a large amount of pachinko balls and a slave pachinko island base for receiving the supply of the pachinko balls from the base tank B1, the base tank B1 is formed by sectioning the inside into plural tank parts 100 and 120 whose storage order of storing the pachinko balls is decided and is also provided with distributing mechanisms 101, 121, 103a, 103b, 123a and 123b for performing distribution so as to store the pachinko balls returned from a main overflow mechanism and a return mechanism to the base tank in each of the tank parts 100 and 120 sectioned corresponding to the storage order. Thus, the attaching position capable of measuring the accurate ball amount of the ball amount sensor is easily determined.
