PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a pneumatic tire in which sufficient weight reduction and excellent asymmetric wear resistance of a tread are both achieved. SOLUTION: An assembly of a standard rim and a tire, which has a carcass 6 of a small-diameter organic fiber cord of a ply 1 and a two-layered belt 7 in which small-diameter steel cords are cross-plied, is filled with internal pressure of 50 kPa or less. A crown curve of the tire section consists of three arcs having crown radii R1, R3 and R2 respectively. The arc having the radius R1 occupies 25 to 35% of the tread width in a central region. The arc having the radius R3 occupies 0 to 10% of the tread width extending from the end of the tread width toward the center. The arc having the radius R2 occupies a middle region between the central and end regions. Connection points of two adjacent arcs have a common tangent, and crown radii have a relationship of R2>R1>R3.
