PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce an amount of nose dive through moderate deceleration and prevent shock caused when a vehicle returns to a normal position by configuring braking/driving control means so as to moderate deceleration when a vehicle speed is, during deceleration control, at a set speed at which the vehicle almost stops or a lower speed. SOLUTION: A target vehicle speed that keeps a target following distance is calculated based on a following distance and a vehicle speed. A target throttle opening and a target brake pressure PB* are calculated based on the target vehicle speed. When the vehicle speed hits the lowest speed during deceleration, a brake pressure limit value PLIM indicates the lowest brake pressure obtained by summing up a target brake pressure PBG corresponding to a drive shaft torque conversion value TDHG of hill climbing resistance and a brake pressure necessary for generating moderated deceleration at which occupants of the vehicle do not feel uncomfortable when the vehicle stops. When the target brake pressure PB* is greater than the brake pressure limit value PLIM, the brake pressure limit value PLIM is selected and thus an amount of nose dive is reduced through moderate deceleration.
|
