PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a garbage treatment apparatus which can keep decomposition performance in a good condition. SOLUTION: In the garbage treatment apparatus having agitation blades 1 fitted to an agitation shaft 3, a garbage treatment tank 2 which has the agitation blades 1 and an inlet 4 formed in its upper part, and a carrier 6 on which microorganisms packed in the treatment tank 2 live, the inlet 4 side of the tank 2 is lifted, and the agitation shaft 3 and the tank 2 are inclined.
