PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a precoated steel sheet excellent in weather resistance, dirt resistance, dirt removing performance, workability, chemical resistance and corrosion resistance by forming an undercoated coating film with an epoxy resin based paint mixed with a specified pigment on a surface of a steel sheet and forming an over-coated coating film with a polyester resin based coating material mixed with a specified dispersant on the surface of the undercoated coating film. SOLUTION: As a steel sheet, an aluminum-zinc galuannealed steel sheet, a zinc plated steel sheet and a stainless steel sheet are used. An epoxy resin based paint is applied on the surface of the steel sheet, then dried and cured to form an undercoated coating film. As the epoxy resin based paint, an epoxy resin based paint mixed with a 5-60 wt.% corrosion resistant pigment consisting essentially of a chromate is used. A polyester resin based coating material is applied on the surface of the undercoated coating film, then dried and cured to form an over-coated coating film. As the polyester resin based coating material, a polyester resin based coating material mixed with a 5-60 wt.% dispersant consisting of an inorganic oxide sol is used.
