PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve carrying efficiency by providing a pair of front/rear support members and connecting bars directly or indirectly extended to the front/ rear support members, and arranging gusset plates laterally overhanging in left/right parts on a front face or a rear face of the front/rear support members. SOLUTION: A constitutive member 1 of a rack device of an automated strange and retrieval system has a pair of front/rear support members 2 and the required number of connecting bars 4 extended via a bracket 3 installed on the front/rear support members 2. In this case, gusset plates 5, 6 laterally overhanging in left/right parts are respectively arranged on a front face of the front side support member 2 and a rear face of the rear side support member 2, and these gusset plates 5, 6 are arranged so as to be positioned under first stage and third stage shelf members. When carried to an execution work site from a factory, carrying efficiency is improved by integrating mutual constitutive members 1 by vertically dislocating the gusset plates 5, 6 of the adjacent constitutive members 1 while lining up the mutual constitutive members 1 in the lateral direction.
