PRESSURE RELEASE TYPE INJECTOR WITH NEEDLE GUARD

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To easily guard the needle of an injector after taking blood so as to prevent the imprudent contact of an exposed needle. SOLUTION: This injector 10 for taking the blood from a patient is provided with a barrel 12 provided with a limited free end and a needle assembly 14 freely releasably fixed to the limited free end. When a plunger 16 is inserted from the end on an opposite side into the barrel 12 and the needle provided with a sharp free end of the needle assemble 14 is appropriately inserted to the patient, by pulling the plunger 16 from the limited free end inside the barrel 12, the blood is pulled out from the patient. The injector 10 is also provided with an annular needle guard 18 surrounding the barrel 12 and it is slid against the barrel 12 between a first position where the needle guard does not surround the needle and a second position where the needle guard surrounds the needle and prevents the tip of the needle from harming a person handling the injector 10.
