PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve a total throughput by simplifying an operation from compression by pack-bits to transferring of data. SOLUTION: This recorder comprises a pre-compressed data receiving buffer 101 into which image data read by a scanner unit is written, a TAG generating section 105 that reads the data written in the pre-compressed data receiving buffer 101, generates TAG from the read data and writes only the TAG into the pre-compressed data receiving buffer 101, a TAG/data selecting section 106 that reads the TAG and data in the pre-compressed data receiving buffer 101 on an as-needed basis by analyzing the TAG to transfer it to a transmission control section 104 and the transmission control section 104 that transfers the data from the TAG/data selecting section 106 together with a control signal to a host 200 in accordance with a protocol of an interface with respect to the host 200. |
