PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a bearing seal device for a water pump capable of almost surely preventing cooling water or steam from invading into a shaft bearing, and simultaneously preventing grease in the bearing from flowing out. SOLUTION: A seal ring on the impeller side comprises an outer ring side seal ring 151 provided with a reinforcement ring, a first auxiliary lip 1512 and a main lip 1513 formed of elastic material such as rubber and synthetic resin, and a second auxiliary lip 1514 positioned on the outer diameter side of the main lip 1513, and a shaft side seal ring 152 comprising a first cylinder part 1521 engaged with a shaft body to be fixed, an intermediate part 1522 extended on the outer diameter side of it, and a second cylinder part 1523 subsequently extended in the axial direction to rotate with the shaft body, the main lip 1513 slide contacts with an outer circumferential surface of the first cylinder part 1521 of the shaft side seal ring 152, the first auxiliary lip 1512 slide contacts with an outer circumferential surface of a rotary member on the axial direction inner side of the main lip 1513, the second auxiliary lip 1514 slide contacts with the shaft side seal ring 152 on the outer diameter side of the main lip 1513, and an outer diameter side extended part of the shaft side seal ring 152 composes a labyrinth seal with the outer ring side seal ring 151 or an outer ring 101. |
