PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To make a contribution to the reduction in the size of a reader for bar code inspection by shortening the inspection time of the bar codes. SOLUTION: Bar code inspection sheets 10, 20 and 30 are constituted by visibly displaying adequate regions 12 for arrangement indicating the positions of the bar codes 6 permitted for postal items 1 and diagonal lines 21 and 31 indicating the inclination of the bar codes 6 permitted for the sides 2 of the postal items 1 at translucent sheet members 11. Whether or not the positions and inclination of the bar codes 6 are adequate may be inspected simply by superposing the sheet members 11 of the bar code inspection sheets 10, 20 and 30 on the surfaces of the postal items 1 and viewing the same. As a result, the scanning of the display portions of the bar codes 6 is merely necessitated even if the surfaces of the postal items 1 are not scanned with the reader over the entire part at the time of the substantial inspection of the bar codes 6. Then, the inspection time is shortened to make contribution to the reduction in the size of the reader for bar code inspection. |
