A dough dosing machine has a funnel connected to parallelepiped block containing a passage constant section with a 90 deg bend at its upstream end. The funnel connects a reservoir to the upstream end of the corner. A first toothed wheel extends into the passage and is turned by the passage of dough. Another toothed wheel on the same shaft as the first wheel lies outside the block. Electric contacts coupled to a counter engage the teeth of the second wheel. Each tooth of the first wheel may have a quadrant shape with a straight edge arranged along a diameter of the passage and facing the oncoming dough. First wheels with different sizes of teeth may be used for different dough densities. For extreme densities a smooth cloth is placed between the wheel and the dough. The counter controls a cutter at the downstream end of the passage.
