The system of flaps and key-operated valves in pneumatic organ mechanisms is simplified and improved as a complete system when seals for the entrances to the sound box (7) are completely dispensed with and a hose (5) or similar hollow elastic structure, such as of silicone rubber, is held closed directly by a key spring (1) or by the weight of the key (2). Small extensions are used on the hose and force the hose open when the keys are pressed. Pinching and opening of the hose is made via an electromagnet.
