The application cylinder (5) in contact with a printing cylinder (2) is associated with a principle dosing system (8) comprising a gravure roll (6) and doctor blade (7), and at least one additional dosing system (10) comprising an additional application cylinder (9), gravure roll (11) and doctor blade (12). An Independent claim is also included for an inking machine with this dosing system, in which the gravure roll has a diameter equal to that of the application cylinder and is partially provided with different patterns.
