The present invention discloses a rocker arm shaft (12) that is capable of re-filtering engine oil and supplying the filtered engine oil to a rocker arm (10). The rocker arm shaft (12), around which the rocker arm (10), transmitting the movement of a cam shaft to a valve mechanism, is fitted, has a longitudinal center bore (110) through which engine oil flows. An oil filter (150) is fitted across the longitudinal center bore (110) to filter the engine oil. As the oil filter (150) is placed across the longitudinal center bore (110), impurities are filtered out of the engine oil supplied to the rocker arm (10), thereby preventing a hydraulic lash adjuster from breaking down. |
