PURPOSE: A device for refrigerating a halogen lamp in a microwave oven is provided to efficiently refrigerate a connecting unit of the halogen lamp and to improve reliability of the microwave oven. CONSTITUTION: A device for refrigerating a halogen lamp of a microwave oven comprises a halogen lamp(20) applying light energy into material of the microwave oven by changing a current on a lower portion of a cavity; a connecting unit(22) formed on both end portions of the halogen lamp; a cooling fan(30) generating air flow to refrigerate the connecting unit; a cooling duct(40) integrally assembled to a lower portion or an upper portion of the halogen lamp; and a pair of guide duct units(42,44) supplying the air flow into the connecting unit by being formed on the cooling duct. Thereby, the device for refrigerating the halogen pump of the microwave oven efficiently refrigerates the connecting unit of the halogen lamp to improve reliability.
