AUTOMATIC DRESSING GRINDING MACHINE

PURPOSE: An automatic dressing grinding machine is provided to select dressing time and dressing amount of the grinding machine automatically. CONSTITUTION: A grinding member(5) is installed in one side of a table(1) to support a workpiece(3). A dresser(7) for adjusting cutting degree of the grinding member is installed in the other side of the table. A sensor(10) is installed at one end of the workpiece to sense an acoustic wave generated while grinding of the workpiece. A control system(15) is installed at one end of the sensor to receive the acoustic wave from the sensor and to select optimum dressing time and dressing amount. The dresser is controlled by the control system to automatically carry out dressing operation.
