PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a sheet feeding device having a very simple structure, feeding and separating paper stably, reducing a load applied on a transport roller provided in the downstream of a feeding direction of a paper feeding roller, and increasing durability, and an image processing device. SOLUTION: This sheet feeding device is provided with a sheet support mean supporting a sheet, a sheet feeding roller 51 feeding the sheet fed out of the sheet support mean in a sheet transport direction, a separating roller 53 pressing the paper feeding roller 51 and rotating in the reverse direction of the sheet transport direction to separate a single sheet, and a transmission mean transmitting a driving force of the paper feeding roller 51 to the separating roller 53. The peripheral speed of the separating roller 53 is set slower than that of the paper feeding roller 51.
