<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve the separability of paper by providing a paper feeding roller having a semicircular rubber part on a position opposite to a friction pad, with an opposite member capable of locating on a position closer to a paper passing surface of an upper surface of the friction pad with respect to a semicircular cut part of the rubber part in a standby state. SOLUTION: A paper feeder of an image forming device has a paper feeding roller 20 having a semicircular rubber part and mounted on a position opposite to a friction pad 10, and the paper feeding roller 20 is placed at a standby position where a semicircular cut part 21 of the rubber part is located oppositely to the friction pad 10 and the paper on a paper cassette 2, in a standby state free from the paper feeding operation. On this occasion, an opposite member 25 facing to the friction pad 10 is mounted at a side of the paper feeding roller 20. The opposite member 25 is provided with a cut part on a part of a cylinder similarly as the paper feeding roller 20, and the cut part is shifted from the cut part 21 of the paper feeding roller 20. Whereby a space s2 at an upper side of the pad 10 is reduced, and the paper separability can be improved.</p> |
