PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a differential pressure type pressure transducer which is small-sized, lightweight, and low-cost. SOLUTION: Bellows 5 which are made of rubber or plastic are used as a balanced previous pressure generation part 21 which generates balanced pressure corresponding to the hydraulic pressure at an installation place and compressed air which exceeds the installation hydraulic pressure is charged in the bellows 5. After the installation, a solenoid valve 6 is opened to discharge the compressed air above the hydraulic pressure into the sea and the pressure in the low-pressure side 11b of a pressure sensor 11 is balanced, so that an electric signal which is proportional to wave height can be outputted.
