PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To make an urn easily biodegradable in soil when it is embedded in the soil by forming the urn of used paper containing beam curd less. SOLUTION: An urn 1 is made up of a lid 2 and a body 3. The part of the lid 2 that contacts the body 3 is provided with claw members 4 as fitting means along the inwall of the lid 2. In the body 3, level differences 5 receiving the claw members 4 when connected with the lid 2 are formed. This urn 1 is formed of bean curd less produced in the bean curd producing process, together with the lid 2 and the body 3, whereby it is biodegradable by microorganisms in soil when the urn 1 containing bone is embedded in a tomb. The quantity of bean curd lees contained in used paper is preferably 2 to 70 wt.pts. based on 100 wt.pts. used paper to be used. The urn may be formed of used paper containing pasture.
