PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image processing system which can show the utmost capability of an image forming device by displaying an operation screen that is accordant with the operation screen information sent from the image forming device on a display means of an image processor. SOLUTION: In this image processing system, a black/white copying machine 103 serving as an image forming device, a1-drum color copying machine 104, a 4-drum color copying machine 105 and ink jet printer 106 are connected to a document server 101 functioning as an image processor by means of an Ethernet cable and via an HUB 102 and a network. When the server 101 selects a printer that outputs an image, an operation program that is not processed by a processing system and written in an intermediate code is down loaded from the selected printer. Then the operation program is interpreted by an emulator of the server 101, and operation screen that is accordant with the features of the selected printer is displayed on a monitor of the server 101 and an operation flow is carried out. |
