PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image processor which can include information of other images when the gradations of image data are decreased. SOLUTION: A gradation image B to be binarized and a gradation image A as a pattern for binarizing the gradation image B are prepared. According to a specific rule, the gradation image A is converted by replacing pixels to generate a dither pattern Ap. The gradation image B is binarized by using the dither pattern Ap to generate a binarized image Bb. This process is carried out by the color components of a color image.
