摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To increase a thrust and to form a traveling electrostatic field by a method wherein a state that a first electrode and a second electrode which are adjacent become a high potential is maintained, a state that adjacent third electrode and fourth electrode become a low potential is maintained, and four-phase driving voltages which move adjacent high-potential electric field regions covering a portion of two electrodes sequentially to the axial direction are applied to the respective electrodes. SOLUTION: A voltage V1 is applied to electrodes 12a, a voltage V2 is applied to electrodes 12b, a voltage V3 is applied to electrodes 12c, and a voltage V4 is applied to electrodes 12d. Consequently, a traveling electric field which travels to one side of an axial direction or to its opposite side is formed inside a circular hole 13, and every moving bar 2 is driven by the traveling electric field. For example, when four- phase AC voltages V1 to V4 are used, traveling electric fields are formed, and every moving bar 2 is moved by the traveling electric field. The voltages V1, V2 display a stable state that they are at a high level so as not of be changed, and the voltage V3, V4 display a stable state that they are at a low level so as not to be changed. As a result, electric charges are induced in respective regions (a) to (d) in a dielectric part 22 which faces respective electrode parts 12a to 12d.
