PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To erase residual charge and unnecessary charge on a photoreceptor drum only by turning on a discharge lamp and to use a motor for driving a shutter at the time of erasing the unnecessary charge also for the supply of toner to a developing device. SOLUTION: Either of light from the discharge lamp 54 of the photoreceptor drum 11 is guided to a more upstream side than the electrifying part of the drum 11 so as to erase the residual charge on the drum 11. The other of the light is guided to a downstream side so as to erase the unnecessary charge at the end in an axial direction other than an area shielded by the shutter 49 moving along in the axial direction of the drum 11. The shutter 40 intercepting the light from the lamp 54 and the supply of the toner to the developing device 15 are driven by the single driving motor 53 capable of normally and reversely rotating. Thus, assembly and maintenance are facilitated and the supply of the toner is performed with simple constitution without increasing a driving source for supplying the toner.
