摘要 <p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an operation control system for a battery comprising sodium-sulfur cells allowing installation, even in a narrow space, allowing reduction in used communication cable amount, being hardly affected by noise, and capable of accurately controlling the battery. SOLUTION: This system has a control means 3 each installed in each module battery 2, and a monitoring means 4 common to the respective module batteries 2. The control means 3 outputs a temperature inside a heat insulating vessel 6 and a voltage of the module battery 2 to the monitoring means 4. The monitoring means 4 has a function for calculating the charge end voltage and discharge end voltage, and outputting a stop signal, and also outputs a control signal to each of the control means 3 according to the signal outputted from the control means 3, and the control means 3 controls the temperature inside the heat-insulating vessel 6 according to the control signal.</p>
