<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide the light wavelength converting device capable of preventing the reduction of conversion efficiency caused by the difference between mode diameters of a pump laser beam and wavelength converted light and capable of improving wavelength converting efficiency. SOLUTION: A light parametric oscillator is composed of a reflecting mirror 1, a reflecting mirror 2 having a radius of curvature different from the radius of curvature of the reflecting mirror 1, and a wavelength converting crystal 3. Two surfaces of these reflecting mirrors 1, 2 are polished with a different radius of curvature, the reflecting mirror 1 is coated so as to have high reflectivity to a pump laser beam 101, and the reflecting mirror 2 is coated so as to have high reflectivity to wavelength converted light 102.</p> |
