PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an underground excavator capable of omitting a crank on the rear end side of a cutter rotational shaft and simplifying a transmission system. SOLUTION: An underground excavator is so constituted that one or more cutter rotational shafts 23 is mounted to the rear of a cutter main body 5, the same number of rotational discs 25 as the number of the cutter rotational shafts 23 are provided to the inside of an excavator in a rotatable manner, the cutter rotatioal shafts 23 are inserted in eccentric positions of the rotational discs 25, at the same time, a connecting material 27 is provided to the rear ends of the cutter rotational shafts 23, a plurality of driving jacks 29a, 29b,... actuated with fluid pressure are connected to the connecting material 27, the cutter rotational shafts 23 are provided with eccentric quantity (e) between the center of the rotational shafts 23 and the center of the rotational discs 25 as a radius of gyration by a plurality of driving jacks 29a, 29b,... and that a cutter 4 is pivoted as a parallel link to excavate a natural ground. |
