PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide the filter plate of a filter press facilitating the attachment of a filter cloth attaching jig, unnecessary to replace a pair of filter cloths wholly even if one filter cloth is damaged and not requiring projections for reinforcing the filter plate. SOLUTION: A filter plate 1 is equipped with an elastically deformable filter cloth attaching jig 10 having a pair of the flange parts 12 fitted in and engaged with the through-hole 6 of the filter plate 1 while elastically deformed and fitted in the recessed parts 8 formed to the peripheries of the openings of both end parts of the through-hole in a close contact state and the filter cloth attaching parts 14 formed to the respective flange parts and attaching the filter cloths arranged between the adjacent filter plates.
