PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a nut with a stopper having a complete thread locking effect. SOLUTION: This nut with a stopper comprises a nut body 15 provided with an approximately circular vertical groove 14 engraved parallel with a screw axis Z, lacking a circular arc less than a half in the edge line of cross section formed by cutting a portion at least from the ridge of an internal thread to the root of the internal thread, and a stopper pin 16 (or a stopper pin 6) harder than a bolt 9 and driven, as it is fitted into the vertical groove 14 of the nut body 15, in such a way as to crush a ridge 7 of an external thread of the bolt 9 fitted into the nut 15, and fixed. With the thread ridge crushed, the nut body 15 is put out of turning to irreversibly lock the thread.
