A collection scoop (2) is pivotably secured to a rake head (1) and can be rotated into a closed position where the front end (9) of the scoop abuts the front end (6) of the rake head, forming a collection region in between. The entrance to this collection region is via the space in between the rear ends (10) of the rake head and scoop.
