PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a dehumidifier which can be installed even in a one-sided gap in a closet or in a narrow space such as a gap between furnitures without covering an air inlet by a mattress or a furniture, and which can be used without degrading the dehumidifying performance. SOLUTION: This dehumidifier is provided with an air inlet 5 and an air inlet 10 on forward and rear sides of a dehumidifier body 1 slender in the longitudinal direction, an exhaust opening is provided in an upper side, and an evaporator 23 and a condenser 22 are successively arranged in the right-to-left (width) direction of the body within an air supply passage 20 leading from the air inlets 5, 10 to the exhaust opening. Since the air inlet 5 is arranged on the forward side in a closet, the air inlets can not be covered even when a mattress or a furniture is brought into contact with a side of the body. The ventilation quantity from the forward and rear sides is increased, and the water content from the sucked air from the forward side is dehumidified by the evaporator, and the dehumidified air is dried in the condenser and circulated to efficiently dehumidify the air. |
