PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To register telephone book data of a master machine and a slave machine without requiring complicated operation on the part of a user. SOLUTION: When a slave machine is attached to a master machine in the waiting state, a main control part 15 controls a radio part 9 to establish a radio line to the master machine, transfers telephone book data stored in a telephone book memory 14 to the master machine through the radio line, compares the transferred telephone book data with the telephone book data stored in the telephone book memory 14 with respect to each item and updates the telephone book data stored in the telephone book memory 14, as necessary.
