PURPOSE: A method and a device for conveying a wetting object such as a contact lens from a first station to a second station is provided. CONSTITUTION: A method of conveying an object from a first position (50) to a second position (60) consists of the processes of (a) picking up an object (52) with a nozzle 40; (b) discharging the object from the nozzle to the second position with pressurized fluid; and (c) separating all excess substance, scattered by the above process (b), from the object.
