PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To constitute an image forming system by freely combining various types of image scanners and printers with each other without through any general purpose interface, etc. SOLUTION: Between an image scanner 101 and a printer 102 connected to the scanner 102, an image forming system transmits its own information (type identification code, horizontal synchronizing signal, image processing speed, etc.), through a recognizing means 110 and a labeling means 113. Based on the information, the scanner 101 and printer 102 adjust their image processing speeds correspondingly to, for example, the optimum data transferring speed. |
