PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce the backlash or the like of a housing as much as possible when a connector is in a connected state, while reducing the force required for inserting the connector. SOLUTION: A flexible member 24 is provided on the bottom face of a fitting hole 22 (in the figure) in a housing 21 of a female connector 20. The flexible member 24 is pressed and displaced downwards in the figure as its end 24b abuts on the bottom face (in the figure) of a housing 31 of a male connector 30. Thus the flexible member 24 normally energizes, by means of reaction generated by the displacement, the housing 31 of the male connector 30 in the direction (upward direction in the figure) for fitting a lock part 33 into a lock part locking part 23.
