<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To acquire agent monitoring state, while preventing loading to a network without using a TRAP in a network management system using SNMP protocol. SOLUTION: A GetRequest 1 to confirm state change is issued to a device to be monitored by a monitor terminal 1. The GetRequest to confirm the state change is reissued after being fixed time, when notification of no state change is received by a GetResponse by the monitor terminal 1, while when the state change occurs in the device 2 to be monitored, IDs and states are stored in a state storage area 23 in the order of occurrence. Then, the oldest ID is added to the GetResponse from the state storage area 23 as a response and returned to the monitor terminal 1 by the device 2 to be monitored. The latest state is acquired by issuing the GetRequest to the device 2 to be monitored, so as to read the state of the ID by the monitor terminal 1.</p> |
