PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent a part of a bulb to be exposed to a higher temperature than the other part, or a temperature difference between a side facing a travel direction of the bulb and the opposite side in a frit sealing furnace. SOLUTION: This method includes a step applying frit on a funnel (S1), a step drying the first (S2), a step abutting a panel against the funnel to form a bulb to be processed (S3), and a step moving the bulb to be processed in one direction to feeding the bulb into a frit seal furnace, and moving the bulb to be processed while the bulb is being rotated inside the frit seal furnace (S4).
