Aqueous nacreous lustre concentrates containing - based on the non-aqueous component - (a) 1 to 99.9% by weight of fatty compounds selected from the group formed by fatty alcohols, fatty ketones, fatty ethers and fatty carbonates, provided that the substances contain a total of at least 18 carbon atoms, (b) 0.1 to 90% wt. anionic, non-ionic, cationic, ampholytic and/or zwitterionic emulsifiers and (c) 0 to 40% wt. polyols, with the proviso that the quantities add up to 100 % by weight.
