<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a connector for a chip card in an electronic device such as a SIM(subscriber identifying module) card for use in identifying users of a mobile station or subscribers of a communication service. SOLUTION: Electric connection between a connector and a chip card is established by a metal ball 3A fixed to a flexible portion 4A of a connecting spring. The ball 3A is welded onto a ball bed formed on the spring 4A, and is supported at the edge of an opening 3B of a frame. The chip card can be supported by the ball 3A and the edge 3B to be thus inserted into a connector in several directions. The installation direction is limited by only the configuration of a holder of the chip card or an electronic device.</p> |
