<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To relax congestion near an exit, when operating a toll collection system while a conventional system and an ETC system on a toll road coexist. SOLUTION: This toll collection system is for settling a toll, on the basis of the information of on-vehicle equipment and an IC card acquired from the side of vehicle by entrance/exit lane equipment 2 and 3 performing radio communication between a vehicle, in which an IC card recording personal information or the method of settlement is inserted to on-vehicle equipment registering vehicle information beforehand, and the entrance/exit lane equipment 2 and 3 installed in the entrance/exit of the toll road, an IC card write terminal 10 having a pass reader for reading entrance information or car type information from a pass issued in the entrance of the toll road, a security analysis part for enciphering the entrance information or car type information and an IC card reader/writer for writing the enciphered entrance information or vehicle type information on the IC card is installed in the service area of the toll road or the like.</p> |
