PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide communications equipment that can use an existing coaxial cable, and control based on the generation of collision on the coaxial cable can be executed. SOLUTION: This communications equipment is provided with an outside network side RF adaptor 204 for transferring signals between a coaxial cable 205 and an outside network interface 202, and a terminal side RF adaptor 206 for transferring signals between the coaxial cable 205 and terminal equipment 212. Thus, the effect that the existing coaxial cable 205 can be used, is obtained.
