PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To stably maintain blur correction performance by a simple method as a shake correction device for correcting shake by changing the refractive index of a member constituted of an optical anisotropic medium through application of control voltage. SOLUTION: When the operation of a 2nd release of an operation device 7 is executed, shake is corrected by deciding the correcting direction by a direction decision part 21, based on the blur detected with a blur detection and arithmetic operation part 1 and driving the blur correction member 4, constituted of the optical anisotropic medium by a correction device drive part 3. Then, when it is detected by a state detection part 5 that the correction member 4 is set in the correcting direction, that means, it is set in a desired refractive index state, it is reported to a photographing device control part 6 from a blur correction control part 2. By the control part 6, the exposure action (photographing action) of an exposure device 8 is started. |
