PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To electrically insulate the input and output of a DC side in both normal mode and common mode operation on a transformerless system by switching a 1st and a 2nd switching semiconductor and a 3rd and a 4th switching semiconductor in opposite-phase relation. SOLUTION: When the 1st and 2nd switching semiconductors 16 and 18 switch synchronously, the 3rd and 4th switching semiconductors 20 and 21 switch synchronously in the opposite-phase relation with the 1st and 2nd switching semiconductors 16 and 18. When the 1st and 2nd switching semiconductors 16 and 18 turn on to accumulate energy in a DC reactor 17, 1st and 2nd rectifying diodes 19 and 22 are reversely biased with an input voltage Vin developed across a capacitor 8 and an output voltage Vout developed across a power source capacitor 7. Both the diodes 19 and 22 electrically insulate the input and output of the DC side from a voltage in normal mode. |
