STACKED TYPE HEAT EXCHANGER

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To braze a block joint for connection and a heat exchanger body with a sufficient strength, irrespective of the dimension of the width of the heat exchanger body. SOLUTION: This heat exchanger has a stacked type heat exchanger body 1 having an end plate wherein a fluid lead-in port 8c and a fluid lead-out port 7c are opened in juxtaposition and a block joint for connection having two through holes 2a and 2b communicating with the fluid lead-in port 8c and the fluid lead-out port 7c. Insertion parts 7b and 8b having taper parts narrowing toward the fore end sides are formed like projections at the respective circumferential edges of the lead-in port 8c and the lead-out port 7c. Circular projecting parts 13 and 14 for brazing of which the inner circumferential surfaces in the fore end parts are shaped like tapers widening toward the fore end sides so that they correspond to the outer circumferential surfaces of the taper parts of the insertion parts 7b and 8b, are formed at circumferential edges of the openings on the heat exchanger body 1 side in the through holes 2a and 2b of the joint.
