PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce the weight of a battery by decreasing the plate thickness of a battery case and to increase the allowable extent of flaws caused by the surface roughness of components or by the cleaning of components, by providing a sealing means capable of reducing the fastening torque of a bolt fitted into an electrolyte injection port of an electrolyte-incorporating battery. SOLUTION: Sealing an electrolyte injection port is performed by disposing a washer 72 having a ring-shaped partition part and a seal 73 made of an elastic material on the injection port and fitting a plug bolt 71 into the injection port. Further, it is performed by packing the elastic material in a pressed state into a space, demarcated by the partition part of the washer 72, a head part of the plug bolt 71, and a surface portion of a battery case. |
